Tonight, December 2, 2020, would have been the 8th year of the MGS JR Scholarship Fund annual Fundraiser. While I am extremely disappointed that we could not see you and the students tonight, our concern goes to all of those who have had COVID affect their life. We have all seen how various mayors and governors have closed public schools and that makes me realize more than ever how important a gift we have provided the students through our Foundation. While no-one can ever recover from the loss of a child when I see the students at our event, they are not just our students, they are our family. I am so grateful to all of the donors, volunteers, celebrities, judges, and politicians who have added their own touch to the event every year. I am grateful for my sister and brother-in-law, who have not only worked tirelessly to prepare for each year’s event but have donated so much to ensure the success of the Scholarship Fund. I am most thankful to each and every one of you for donating, attending, and caring about the Foundation. I am certain Michael would be so proud of what we have accomplished in his name.
I wish everyone, especially our students, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
