Wednesday evening December 6th, 2023 at Alex’s Bar and Grill marked the 11th year of the Michael Jr Fund. This year we have so much to be proud of and truly thankful. Before the evening started we had 1.275 million in assets, and most importantly $530,000 awarded in scholarships since 2013! Thirteen of our students graduated from a private high school and 15 students are presently attending a private high school on a scholarship awarded by the Foundation. Our diverse group of students hails from Iona Prep High School, San Miguel Academy of Newburgh, The Ursuline High School, and the Hill School in Virginia. Our photos and videos will be posted soon and these words can’t do justice to the grateful school representatives and the exciting student speeches that had the packed house beaming with smiles and holding back tears of joy at the same time. It is a very moving event all in honor of Michael Jr who is looking on with pride on all his friends new and old who have given so much in his name.
