The Michael G. Santangelo Jr. Scholarship Fund Our Board of Directors proudly invites you to our Twelfth Annual Dinner, Silent Auction and Fundraiser!
The Board of Directors of the Michael G. Santangelo Jr. Scholarship Fund is extremely proud to host its annual Scholarship dinner again this year. This year’s event is in honor of our recently departed Director and major Contributor, R. Roderick Porter. The event will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 6:00 to 9:00 at a new venue, Westchester Hills Golf Club, located at 410 Ridgeway, White Plains, New York 10605. Those in attendance will be able to hear from the students and once again see first-hand how much they have grown since last year.
In 2023, the Foundation increased its total scholarships awarded to $80,000 to enable an underprivileged child from the inner city to secure a four-year scholarship to a prestigious private high school.
The Foundation is extremely proud of the seventeen (17) “Santangelo Scholars” that have graduated high school on a scholarship awarded by the Foundation and the Foundation presently has eighteen (18) students who were currently attending a private high school on a scholarship, or a total of thirty-five (35) students that your contributions have assisted in affording them a quality education.
All the students hope to see you at the event so that they can personally express their deep gratitude to you. Since its inception in 2013, the Scholarship Fund has donated $530,000.00 in Michael’s name to assist students with their education. Following this year’s event, the Fund will have exceeded $600,000.00 in scholarships awarded.
