Barut Yahir Labastida

From the last four years of my high school experience, I couldn’t believe the number of people and teachers that I’ve met and made relationships with. At first, I was known as a shy kid and really didn’t talk much in school, but I started to get more interactive and also confident which eventually made friends that would help me out with homework and times when I need to study a certain topic. Also, the teacher would recognize and understand the type of person I was and help me better understand myself, and motivate me to do better and keep going forward. I couldn’t ask for a better school. Now in the year 2020, I have become a senior in All  Hallows high school getting ready for the next step which is college. I didn’t believe and still don’t, how I  grew as a person and matured and made it through four years in high school. I find it funny the saying “Time flies when you’re having fun”, and I honestly believe that now. It wouldn’t be possible for me to experience this high school life if it wasn’t for the help of SSP and I thank them for that. Even in today’s time with the whole pandemic, I find myself motivated to continue forward with school and making better relationships with family and friends. And again I want to thank SSP and Michael G. Santangelo for helping me, with my self, school, and financial aid to continue going to All Hallows high school. I hope the best for everyone and continue on making future graduates like myself happier and experience more than what meets the eye.
