My name is Luis Chirinos and I am a recipient of the Michael G. Santangelo, Jr. Scholarship. I am thankful that I was chosen to receive this scholarship because it has allowed me to join the Class of 2024 at Vermont Academy.
The reason I chose Vermont Academy is that I learned to be a coxswain and a rower at San Miguel Academy during my middle school years.
Vermont Academy liked the fact that I am a good student and dedicated to rowing. I am currently on the Fall Rowing Team at VA.
I appreciate your generosity to San Miguel Program and for the support that you have given to me and to my family. My life has totally changed since the beginning of September. I am independent and learning to be more mature and better at time management.
Without you, none of this would be possible. I will make you proud.
